The Levski release is anticipated to be a dot release that is backward compatible with all EdgeX 2.x releases. The release is not anticipated to be an LTS release.
Major additions planned for this release include:
- North to south message bus implementation (high priority)
- CPE implementation (high priority)
- Unit of measure implementation
- More metrics telemetry (following beta capability provided in Kamakura)
- EdgeX micro service authentication prototype
- Prototyped with an OpenZiti-based solution
